Challenge

Deposition Sciences, Inc. (DSI®), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, provides innovative, ultra-durable optical coating solutions for aerospace, commercial, and military customers. Applications include automotive, biomedical, astronomy, military, homeland security, aviation, spacecraft, imaging, telecommunications, scientific research, and industrial R&D.

DSI was seeking a highly skilled and experienced outsourced marketing team to bring greater awareness to their full suite of technology products, dramatically improve their digital marketing, generate more qualified leads and grow revenues. The team would be responsible for driving their overall marketing strategy including the development of a strategic marketing plan, building their digital and content marketing, updating their website and social media pages, improving SEO, designing print & digital ads, trade show materials and signage, paid media planning and ad buys, email marketing, creating new content such as eBooks/Whitepapers, animated videos, sponsored webinars, and more.

Solution

The Blue Wave marketing team successfully directed DSI’s marketing and advertising initiatives, and developed a comprehensive marketing plan leveraging a combination of both digital content marketing and traditional marketing strategies. We were able to drive and measure positive results for DSI, including over 50% increases in website users and sessions vs. the previous year, almost a million impressions and thousands of clicks through our Google Adwords program, and generate over 1,200 new names added to DSI’s target contact database for the sales team.
